Information Use


RSVP’s Web Site presents a new and creative online way to help high school students learn math and other subjects for free.  Tutors work directly with students during online sessions.  RSVP only collects personally identifiable information that is necessary:

  • To insure that tutoring sessions are personal and productive;
  • Store all of your past sessions in order to review your progress;
  • Send you email about;
  • Ask you for your feedback to improve; and
  • Respond to your email requests.

Personally identifying information of students collected by RSVP will be limited to a user name (first name and last initial only), e-mail address, teacher’s name, grade, school and progress in subject matter as identified by teacher and tutor.  Personally identifying information collected from tutors will be limited to user name, email address and information provided on the tutor enrollment form (full name, email address, address, phone number, birth date, gender and ethnic information, if you are a veteran, employer name and highest educational level).  RSVP does not collect personal information from site visitors other than students and tutors as previously mentioned.

The Web Site also contains links to other web sites with which RSVP has no affiliation. Please be aware that RSVP is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.  We encourage our Users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each web site that collects personally identifiable information.  This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web Site.

RSVP may also collect statistical information about its Users, which is not personally identifiable. Such statistical information helps us improve the quality and usability of the Web Site and improve our marketing to others who may benefit from it.

RSVP does not share personal information with third parties unless prior permission has been obtained from the User.


Although we make every effort to preserve User privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law, when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, or when a court order or legal process served on the Web Site.

User Accounts


Information provided by users to RSVP as part of their user accounts will be maintained as confidential and will not be available to non-account holders.  Such information may be available to RSVP employees and contractors for maintenance and customer service purposes.  Student user IDs are shared with the student’s tutor(s) and teacher(s).  The tutor’s user ID is shared his or her student(s).



RSVP does not intentionally collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years old, you should not enter information on this website.

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
